Tonearms
Our
uni pivot tonearms feature precisely ground and case hardened pivots
matched to Swiss Sapphire watch bearings. They are constructed from
Brazilian Rosewood or Domestic Curly Maple and are inlaid with genuine
Ebony. The carefully centering of mass near the pivot virtually
eliminates bearing chatter. They are wired with Cardas Litz wire and
terminated with Vampire RCAs. The pivot and support components are all
hand polished solid hard brass. We even formulate our finishes from
centuries old formulas for finishing violins, and hand polish each and
every one.
Our tonearms include an alignment gauge and are easily adjustable for ; azimuth, VTF, effective length, vertical alignment and anti-skate. The tonearms have a effective length of 228mm and are of medium mass. They are currently available in standard Linn or Thorens mounting. We also offer a weighted base that requires no mounting holes and can easily be used for a second arm.
